Colorado Mountain Club to embrace web improvements

by Chris Arnold on April 18, 2011

At its roots, the Golden-based Colorado Mountain Club aims to "gather and disseminate information regarding the Colorado mountains in the areas of art, science, literature and recreation." And, among other pro-outdoor initiatives, a driving force has been always been "advocating for the preservation of the alpine regions."

The CMC recently approached Limber Creative with challenges of online progress, recognizing that its ever-expanding member base is continually attracting outdoor enthusiasts by the masses. In an effort to harness the power of digital information delivery, core web improvement goals were brought to the Limber team in earnest. Among the group's initiatives, a redesign and restructuring of current information was key, knowing that almost 35% of current web visitors arrive to view the list of outdoor activities, trips, and local and regional preservation outings.

With sincere personal passions for alpine regions and initiatives that support them, Limber Creative will work with the CMC's programming team to incorporate and update the design and layout through the Drupal content management system. Limber will also be providing ongoing web consult for the blossoming organization's web outreach.
