Austin, Texas was recently home to the South by Southwest Interactive Festival; or as it’s more affectionately known, SXSW. SXSW brings together top thought leaders from each end of the globe. From designers, to developers, to big thinkers, the festival turned Austin into a massive interactive think tank on consecutive spring days this year.
In the words of the conference literature itself, “SXSW Interactive features five days of compelling presentations from the brightest minds in emerging technology, scores of exciting networking events hosted by industry leaders and an unbeatable line up of special programs.”
Denver-based Limber Creative made the trip to Austin to attend this multiple-day event, having to carefully select from a robust list of speakers and panels on topics ranging from web design and content management systems to Pixar-animated title sequences. Countless leading creative forces from top media and interactive markets were on hand to take in the event and shed light on their specific specialties.
The conference offered a traditional avenue to consume the latest information about the latest innovations and most current trends in web technologies. The trip was not only educational and informative, but also affirmative in nature.
With best practices in place for client management and project scheduling, and by remaining steadfast in the use of the ExpressionEngine content management system platform, the Limber Creative team was pleased to find their decisions among the top choices for other industry-leading firms.
Despite the curtain falling on another year at SXSW Interactive, Limber Creative remains excited for what’s next. For more insight into this year’s conference, read Designing Good to Great.
